Time Table and Welcome Class One 27.4.2020

27th April 2020
Ahoy there me hearties,
In case you haven’t guessed by now, our new topic this term is Pirates. On Friday 1st May we will have a dress up as a Pirate Day, you do not have to buy an outfit to dress up you can make items using objects around the house, then email photos and I will put together a gallery to put on the website.
It has been a very busy week, you have all been working super hard and sending me pictures of not only your work but other activities you have been up to, please keep sending these in; it is lovely to see you all. I have also managed to find time to go for some lovely walks by the river as well as read lots of books with Arthur.

We have new friends in Class One (they are staying at Miss O-S house). We are going to watch them grow over the next few weeks and learn how they change from tiny caterpillars into beautiful butterflies. At the moment they are very tiny and also nameless; we would really like it if you would send suggestions of names and then we will have a vote next week.

You will find this week’s suggested time table below, if you have any questions about the time table or work set please email me and I will support you in any way possible.

RESPECT

“Respect – to get it you must give it”  Anon

Thought of the Day

This term we are thinking about the importance of treating others with respect even if we sometimes do not agree with the way they behave or the things they say. We have also been thinking about how we should treat the things that belong to us and to other people respectfully.
• Think of some practical ways that you show respect to each other in your family.
• Often we show respect to someone by the way we speak to them.  What does this mean in practice?
• Do you treat one another’s possessions with respect? What does this mean in practice?
