W.C 30.3.2020

Hello Class 1,

I hope you are all healthy and safe. I have had a very busy week learning about all the new ways to help you learn at home, as well as watching Arthur explore the garden and seeing what mischief he can cause!

Please check under each heading for your work this week. All your Phonics work is on Education City and for this week is set under the Homework Tab.

I have included a suggested timetable below for you to look at and use how you wish, I am very aware every household works differently and you may therefore need to adapt it to suit you best.

Class 1 Suggested Weekly Overview Timetable

I will be checking my emails regularly throughout the week, although please be patient as there are some days when I won’t be as quick as others as I too am adapting to work and family life at home.

Sharon and I look forward to hearing all about the fantastic work that you will be completing over the coming weeks.

Please feel free to send any pictures of amazing creations or fabulous work you may be doing to class1@blockleyschool.gloucs.sch.uk

We hope you all stay healthy, safe and happy over the coming weeks,

Miss Overton – Short, Sharon and Abby.

Thought of the Day

This term we are thinking about the importance of treating others with respect even if we sometimes do not agree with the way they behave or the things they say. We have also been thinking about how we should treat the things that belong to us and to other people respectfully.
• Think of some practical ways that you show respect to each other in your family.
• Often we show respect to someone by the way we speak to them.  What does this mean in practice?
• Do you treat one another’s possessions with respect? What does this mean in practice?
