Timetable Year 2 29-06-2020

Timetable Year 1 29-06-2020

Hello children!

Another week has flown by (for me) and the sunshine has returned (for now). I hope you are all still okay. Please do email the class email address if there is anything you would like some help with. I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.

I have recieved a couple of emails this last week from you guys telling me about things you are doing at home. I have really enjoyed reading about those things and have even been lucky enough to recieve some pictures showing some science experiments and nature watching at it’s finest!

We have really been enjoying ourselves at school. We have been reading a couple of stories by the author Jon Klassen so we are currently in the process of mimicking his writing style to create our own book.

I have loved hearing about how some of you have been reading loads of books. It is so important to create a love of reading, I know I have! (I am on my second book of the week and can’t put it down!)

As I said above, please do email me if you need via the class email and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible!

You are all doing a wonderful job! I am very proud!

Stay safe and stay well,

Mr Parsons

“Respect – to get it you must give it”  Anon

Thought of the Day

This term we are thinking about the importance of treating others with respect even if we sometimes do not agree with the way they behave or the things they say. We have also been thinking about how we should treat the things that belong to us and to other people respectfully.
• Think of some practical ways that you show respect to each other in your family.
• Often we show respect to someone by the way we speak to them.  What does this mean in practice?
• Do you treat one another’s possessions with respect? What does this mean in practice?
