Timetable Class 2 11-05-2020

Good morning Class 2,

I hope you all had fun on the long bank holiday weekend we have just enjoyed. I made sure I reflected on the importance of VE day. I talked to some relatives who had some very intersting stories. I have got through book number 3 this weekend so I need to find another book to read. Maybe you can find me some suggestions? I am not the quickest of readers but I am persevering and I find reading very relaxing.

I have really enjoyed exploring my local area recently. I have been on some new walks and I even spotted a deer! I made sure I was super quiet so it stuck around a little longer. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a picture but it was wonderful to see!

This week we have the Times Tables Rock Stars Championship that Mrs Furniss has been talking about on the blog and I mentioned last week. SO make sure you get your TTRS scores in on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 10am-1pm! You will need to click on:

Tournaments- Top of the Rocks- Gloucestershire Rockstars Championship 1

Let’s get on and get some points!!

For your White Rose work this week, you will be able to watch the video online but you will need to get the worksheet from the school website. See the daily maths tab with the worksheet.

Thank you for your Spring Poems that you sent, I really enjoyed reading them! Remember to send me this week’s writing task when you can.

Stay safe,

Mr Parsons and Abby

Value

Generosity

When we think about generosity we usually think about being generous with money or possessions. However, we can also be generous with our time, our gifts and our abilities.

Thought of the Day

Generous people often say that they receive much more than they give. Perhaps this is because when someone is generous to us, it makes us want to be generous in return. The opposite of being generous is being selfish. What kind of person would you prefer to have as a friend?
