Timetable Class 2 04-05-2020

Good morning Class 2,

I hope you are all still well and taking good care of your parents! I have really enjoyed hearing about what you have been doing the last couple of weeks. I have been practising my Ukulele and I finished the puzzle I was completing. I think a few of you have done more than the one I have done! Keep letting me know about what you have been up to!

This week is only a 4 day week, as we have a Friday bank holiday to commemorate VE day. On Friday I have created some optional  activities you might like to do.

See the Friday VE Day Optional Activities Page.

We are carrying on with White Rose maths this week. Click on the website and go on the year appropriate page.

You will need to complete the Fluent in 5 activities as there is no Flashback 4.

We have been invited to join the Times Tables Rock Stars Gloucestershire Rockstar Championship so practise, practise, practise! More details will come out shortly.

Thank you for continuing to send me your writing. You have a Spring Poem to write this week.  I look forward to hearing from you.

When completing your phonics activities, make sure you are within the right group. You might need to look on the Class 1 page to go to Miss Overton-Short’s group.

Stay safe,

Mr Parsons

“Respect – to get it you must give it”  Anon

Thought of the Day

This term we are thinking about the importance of treating others with respect even if we sometimes do not agree with the way they behave or the things they say. We have also been thinking about how we should treat the things that belong to us and to other people respectfully.
• Think of some practical ways that you show respect to each other in your family.
• Often we show respect to someone by the way we speak to them.  What does this mean in practice?
• Do you treat one another’s possessions with respect? What does this mean in practice?
