Thought May 2017

Our thoughts:

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those families who have lost loved ones in the tragic events that occurred at the end of the Ariana Grande concert which took place at the Manchester Arena earlier this week. It is difficult to comprehend why these horrific acts of unkindness occur.  We all feel a deep sadness as we try to understand why these acts of terror keep occurring. It is now that the people of Manchester will want to be united together to ensure that their communities can be given the time and space to rebuild their shattered lives.

It is therefore a good idea for all communities, up and down the country, to strengthen their partnerships and encourage all of us to appreciate the good that exists amongst us.

Value

Service

Jesus was called the ‘servant king’; his mission was to serve God and to serve all those people he met, through his teaching, his example and the way he led his life.  Who are the unsung heroes who serve us?
• at school
• at home
• in our clubs
