E-safety advice and websites
The Internet is an essential element in 21st century life for education, business and social interaction. The school provides pupils with clear and concise advice on how to remain safe while using the internet. Although we provide a comprehensive package of strategies to protect the children at school we are fully aware of the dangers facing them in the unrestricted environment outside school. All parents/carers have a legal responsibility to safeguard their children when using online devices and there is no need for a technical understanding to help your children keep safe. The school has regular CEOP led workshops for pupils and parent/carers to advise about safe Internet and mobile phone/tablet usage. For some helpful hints and tips to ensure your child is safe online please visit the ‘think u know’ website.
