To mark World Book Day and further encourage a love of books, on Thursday 5th March 2020 we are inviting all pupils to dress up as a character from one of their favourite books. This should be a book that the children are familiar with and, if possible, they need to bring the book in to school to support that day’s English lesson – where they will write about their chosen character.

We shall be holding a special assembly to mark the occasion. In the afternoon, staff will be sharing books or extracts of children’s books that they love with children.
