KS2 Maths Evening
Dear Parents / Carers,
There is a change of date to the KS2 Maths Evening which will now be held on Monday 12th November and not Monday 29th October as previously stated.
We do hope that you will still be able to join us for this informative evening which starts at 6.30pm.
The aim of the evening is to inform Parents and Carers as to how children progress through the Maths curriculum from Year 3 to Year 6. The main aspects of the curriculum that will be covered are: place value, addition and subtraction, multiplication and division. Parents and carers will be able to get an overview as to how these aspects are taught in each year group, and the basic mathematical principles children need. Attendees will be invited to visit each of the KS2 classrooms where teaching staff will be able to explain the pathway of progression for each year group along with strategies the children are taught and examples of resources they use.
The KS1 Maths Evening will take place as originally planned on 30th October 6.30pm.
