Contacting your child’s class teacher for home learning support

Dear parents and carers

During the period of school closure, to support you and your child as they embark upon home learning, we have set up class emails in case you need any clarification or advice on aspects of the home learning programme. Any other queries or information should be directed to the usual school email address:

  • Teaching staff will pick up and respond to these emails during school working hours – please allow 24hrs for a response (whenever possible, staff will respond sooner).
  • Please be mindful that staff will also be scheduled to support keyworkers’ children.
  • We hope that children’s class teachers will be able to respond but there may be circumstances where another teacher will need to instead.
  • Both you and teaching staff are new to home learning and we shall all be learning ‘on the job’ – we shall try to help whenever possible but teaching staff cannot become engaged in protracted conversations.
  • The email addresses are:

When we think about generosity we usually think about being generous with money or possessions. However, we can also be generous with our time, our gifts and our abilities.

Thought of the Day

Generous people often say that they receive much more than they give. Perhaps this is because when someone is generous to us, it makes us want to be generous in return. The opposite of being generous is being selfish. What kind of person would you prefer to have as a friend?
