Class 1 Welcome

Hello Class One,

Welcome to another week of pirate mishaps and adventures. Your pirate outfits last week were amazing and I am very grateful for all your efforts which you can see in the Class One Friday Dress Up Challenge post.  This Friday, it is V.E Day and it would be lovely if you could all make a banner and wear red, white or blue – remember to send those photos in.

It was a very busy week last week, I appeared in Mr Jones Vlog, had several lovely walks out, replied to lots of emails, tried to keep the children busy and out of trouble whilst preparing lots of work for you all to do.

As you know we have some caterpillars in Class One. They are growing each day and becoming more active. I wonder if you could find out what might happen next to the caterpillars?

I would like to remind you all about answering the questions on Bug Club. It is really important for you to answer all of the bugs in the book – once the book is finished, all the bugs should have a sleepy face and you will see your tokens flash up. If you do not see the tokens, you may need to go back through the book and answer the questions again to make sure you have  answered them correctly. If you do not close a book or answer all the questions it will not inform me that you have finished the book.

Before we finished school for Home Learning, most of you were given a seed and a diary to keep updated, it would be lovely to see how your seeds have grown. Below is a picture of my seeds.

A big THANK YOU to all of you for all your hard work and super pictures you are sending in on a daily basis, it is a joy to see what you have been doing and it makes me very proud of you (and your parents) to see how well you are all progressing at this unusual time.
