This week you are going to be revisiting expanded noun phrases.
Firstly, I would like you to have a go at the activity on Education City called ‘The Lake of Noun Phrases’.
Once you have done this, please have a go at the next activity below called ‘Under the sea’. This does not need to be printed off, you can just re-write the sentences out into your book.
Grammar
Today we are going to be reminding ourselves of the differences between simple, compound and complex sentences.
Please begin with the ‘simple, compound and complex sentences’ activity first and then move on to the other activities. I do not expect you to do all of the sentences on the last three of the worksheets, I am happy for you to choose 4 or 5 sentences and then move on. Any issues, just e-mail me! Miss Stewart.
