Hello Class 2!

I am writing this leading into the last week of term. The year has flown by and we are unfortunate that we have spent lots of the year apart. It has left a sad feeling inside me that I haven’t had as much time with you as I would have liked.

At school, we have been watering the seeds we planted. There are still no sign of activity but hopefully, over the weekend, we will have some change.

The children became authors this week by writing their own Jon Klassen inspired stories and we have been persevering with our halves and quarters.

I have recieved more emails this week and have heard about some rescued Guinea Pigs! The pictures that were attached were super cute!

Well done for all your hard work over the last 4 months, I am very proud of every single one of you! If you need any help in this last week make sure you email me, I will continue to try and get back to you as soon as possible.

Stay safe and stay well,

Mr Parsons

Good morning everyone!

These weeks at school are going so fast, we are staying super busy! It has been lovely to have lots of the children back in! We have managed to find some time to plant some flowers, which is exciting, hopefully we will be able to take good care of them and get them to grow in the next 2 weeks! (I’m not the best at growing plants so I might have to leave it to the children)

We have been exploring another book by Jon Klassen this week and even managed to act it out on the playground, which was lots of fun! In maths we have been exploring money-the children will all be expecting a £50 note now (sorry parents)!

A couple of you have emailed this week, one even telling me they have sent a poem into Blue Peter (My finger’s are crossed). Please do email me if you have anything you want to share!

Keep up the excellent work everyone (including you parents) and if you need any help, or just want to send an email, I will try to get back to you as soon as possible!

Stay safe and stay well,

Mr Parsons

RESPECT

“Respect – to get it you must give it”  Anon

Thought of the Day

This term we are thinking about the importance of treating others with respect even if we sometimes do not agree with the way they behave or the things they say. We have also been thinking about how we should treat the things that belong to us and to other people respectfully.
• Think of some practical ways that you show respect to each other in your family.
• Often we show respect to someone by the way we speak to them.  What does this mean in practice?
• Do you treat one another’s possessions with respect? What does this mean in practice?
